Essential maintenance affecting payments in - 6 July

Our third-party provider will be carrying out essential maintenance from 5am on Saturday 6 July. It's expected to complete on Sunday 7 July. This will affect payments made into Secure Trust Bank Savings accounts.

If you make a payment into your account during this period, it will reach your account once the maintenance is complete. For those customers affected by the delay, we'll credit you any interest that you're owed.

If you make a withdrawal during this period, there will be no change. We'll process this the next Business Day.

When you're logged in, click on your account, then click 'Nominated Account' in the menu on the left.

You'll see the details of the account you selected to pay in from and make payments to. You can update your Nominated Account using the drop-down box to choose between accounts you have set up as an 'External Account'.

If the account you want to use as your Nominated Account is not in the drop-down, you will need to add it as an 'External Account' first.

To add an 'External Account', select 'My details' in the menu on the left and then 'External Accounts'. You'll need to provide:

  • Account name
  • Account number
  • Sort code
  • Type of account (either 'Bank' or 'Building Society')

Press the yellow 'Add External Account' button to submit your new information.

Once your new External Account has been verified and added to your list of External Accounts, remember to go back to the 'Nominated Account' section to select your newly added account.

Please note, if you change your Nominated Account, any payments you've asked us to make could be delayed as it can take up to 14 days for us to carry out additional checks.
