Secure Trust Bank Group (STBG) staff will be marching for justice and equality in two local Pride parades in 2025.

In support of its ED&I (equity, diversity and inclusion) strategy, STBG will be taking part for the first time in the Birmingham Pride parade, which is close to its head office, and for the second year running in Pride Cymru in Cardiff, where its V12 Retail Finance business is based.

The Group is inviting a group of employees from across its office locations to march and show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Anne McKenning, Chief People Officer and member of the organisation's ED&I steering committee, said; "Our aim is to support all our employees and make sure that they can be their authentic selves at work.  Our ED&I vision is to be a successful inclusive business where all our people feel respected, can confidently be themselves and fulfil their potential.

"I am excited to be joining in Birmingham's Pride Parade myself and I'm looking forward to colleagues joining me on the day."

To support its ED&I strategy, STBG has formed a network of employees who have volunteered to be 'Inclusioneers'. They help to champion ED&I across the organisation and across the nine protected characteristics outlined in the UK's Equality Act 2010.

Nina Elliott, quality assurance analyst and Inclusioneer representing LGBTQIA+, said, "I'm really proud to be part of a company that values all of its employees. I was lucky to walk in Pride Cymru in 2024 and I'm excited to be returning for the 2025 event."

Birmingham Pride will take place on Saturday 24 May 2025 and Pride Cymru is on Saturday 21 June 2025.

STBG's focus on ED&I is part of its Environmental, Social and Governance strategy details of which can be found on its website.
