Secure Trust Bank (STB) is proud to announce Birmingham Children's Hospital (BCH) Charity as its new charity partner for the next three years.
'Communities and Charity' is one of the focus areas in Secure Trust Bank Group's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy which outlines how the organisation aims to make a positive contribution to the communities in which it conducts its business. STBG aims to build and maintain strong links with local communities through support of local initiatives and fundraising activities, prioritised by colleagues' preferences.
BCH received the majority vote after staff were asked to choose from a shortlist of charities proposed by colleagues based at Secure Trust Bank Group's head office in Solihull.
Richard Jones, senior payroll specialist at STBG and Chair of the Group charity committee, said:
"I'm excited to have such a prominent role in our fundraising activities and cannot wait to work with the rest of the charity committee to raise as much money as we can for Birmingham Children's Hospital over the next three years."
Katie Harris, Corporate Partnerships Officer at Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity, said: "We're thrilled to have been chosen as Secure Trust Bank's dedicated charity partner and can't wait to see what we are able to achieve together over the next three years.
"With the help of businesses like Secure Trust Bank, our charity has been able to invest in the latest technology, create child-friendly environments and improve experiences for our patients and families, so we're incredibly grateful for Secure Trust Bank's invaluable support."
The partnership follows STB's relationship with Acorns Children's Hospice which resulted in staff raising a milestone £100,000 over three years.
