The 2024 UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ was launched by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Secure Trust Bank Group (STBG) ranked as 59 out of 100 in the large organisations category.

A comprehensive wellbeing strategy, employee assistance programme, and a variety of wellbeing tools and activities are just some of the reasons why STBG employees believe it's a great place to work.

The UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ rankings include organisations that have succeeded in making their employees experience high levels of wellbeing in their workplace. To compile the prestigious list, Great Place To Work culture experts analysed thousands of employee surveys, assessing their holistic experiences of wellbeing at work through fundamental facets of employee wellbeing, including work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, and financial security.  Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of its employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

According to STBG's annual employee survey, 90% of employees agree that 'People care about each other here', 89% agree that 'I can be myself here' and 81% feel positively that 'People are encouraged to balance their work life and their personal life.

Anne McKenning, Chief People Officer at STBG said, "Employee wellbeing has long been a focus for us. This year, we've refreshed our wellbeing strategy and signed up to Business in the Community's Workwell Commitment, which is a framework for employers looking to prioritise their people and enable them to thrive at work.

"We continue to ensure that we're evaluating our wellbeing initiatives so that colleagues can feel safe and healthy working here, whether that's talking to a trained Mental Health First Aider, taking a monthly paid Wellbeing Hour to do something to boost their mood, or attending health and wellbeing webinars or our monthly Wellbeing Café."

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK said: "Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. Now in our third year of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we're able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial and social wellbeing.  It's no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation. Congratulations to Secure Trust Bank Group for making this prestigious list!"
