Having a clear strategy and direction is just one of the reasons why Secure Trust Bank Group employees choose to go to work every day. There are many other reasons, according to the UK's Best Workplaces™ ranking just published by Great Place to Work®. Secure Trust Bank Group was recognised in this year's ranking along with 161 other UK organisations.
This is the second year running that Secure Trust Bank Group has been recognised as a UK Best Workplace. The Group was ranked 28 in the large category, one place higher than for 2019 in spite of an increase in organisations included in this category.
Paul Lynam commented; "We are delighted to be recognised by our employees as an organisation that promotes a healthy workplace culture through trust, pride and camaraderie. The ranking is based largely on colleague feedback so it was particularly pleasing that some of the areas where we have improved most were those highlighted by colleagues for focus in the previous year. This demonstrates how highly we value the opinions of our team and that we don't just listen but also act on their feedback."
As well as being named a UK Best Workplace, Great Place to Work also awarded Secure Trust Bank Group the 'Excellence in Wellbeing' recognition. This celebrates organisations that demonstrate a culture of wellbeing and this was awarded to just 35 companies in the large category in 2020.
Understanding the perspective of employees is key to building a successful workplace environment. To determine an organisations ranking, Great Place® to Work administers its Trust Index survey® to employees which represents two thirds of the final score. The remaining third of the score comes from the Culture Audit®, a business-driven questionnaire that uncovers and evaluates the organisation's HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.
