Solihull headquartered, Secure Trust Bank Group, has been awarded a Silver TIDEmark by the Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI) in recognition of the work it has done on being an inclusive employer.
The award follows recent news that the bank had been named 'Best Overall' for its culture, working practices and initiatives out of 24 organisations ranked in the large category of the UK Best Workplace in Financial Services and Insurance list, and a top 50 Best Workplaces in Europe, as awarded by Great Place to Work.
TIDE (Talent Inclusion and Diversity Evaluation) is ENEI's evaluation and benchmarking tool. It measures an organisation's approach and progress on diversity, equality, and inclusion. Organisations' approach to DEI are then compared to others within the sector before being ranked and best submissions will also win the coveted TIDE award.
David McCreadie, Chief Executive Officer for Secure Trust Bank Group, said:
"I'm very pleased to receive external recognition for the progress we are making towards being an inclusive business. According to the Hays Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Report 2020, an organisation's EDI policies are important to nearly three quarters (73%) of professionals when considering a new role.
"The Silver TIDEmark shows that we are making positive progress and supports our vision where all our people feel respected, can confidently be themselves and fulfil their potential. We recently launched our ED&I strategy to our stakeholders which outlines our aims and measures to achieving our vision."
