Solihull, Birmingham, September 22, 2023 - Great Place To Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, has selected Secure Trust Bank Group for the 2023 Best Workplaces in Europe™ List, ranking No. 44. out of 50 in the 500+ employees category.
This year's list features 150 organisations that were chosen after surveying over 1 million employees in Europe about their experience in the workplace. In total, the survey results represent the work experiences of over 2.6 million employees across Europe.
Companies were considered for the list after being selected for local honors on national Best Workplaces™ lists.
This recognition is based on confidential survey data assessing employee experiences of trust, innovation, company values, and leadership. Companies are also evaluated on how well they are creating a For AllTM workplace experience, where all employees are welcomed and celebrated no matter who they are or what they do. At the Best Workplaces in Europe, more employees reported flexible work, feeling cared for by their coworkers, and a psychologically and emotionally healthy workplace.
With these more positive workplace experiences, employees were also more likely to want to stay with their company. For employees at the Best Workplaces, 88% want to stay at their company, compared to just 58% at the typical workplace.
James Ablett, Operations Delivery Manager at STBG, said, "STBG is a great place to work because you can be your authentic self here. You can genuinely make a difference and you're encouraged to be innovative and make change happen."
With all the challenges facing global markets in the years ahead, focusing on workplace culture will be essential to ensure organisations survive - and even thrive.
Staff at STBG highly rated being treated with respect (98%); trusting their line managers (93%) and being treated fairly regardless of sexual orientation (98%), race (98%) and gender (97%).
David McCreadie, Chief Executive Officer, Secure Trust Bank Group, said, "I am delighted to be recognised as a top 50 accredited Best Workplaces in Europe in the Large Company category, by Great Place to Work.
